Create and edit dashboard groups
You can create groups of dashboards and display them in a slideshow using Splunk TV.
Prerequisites
- Splunk Cloud Gateway is installed on your Splunk Enterprise search head.
- Splunk TV is enabled in the Configure tab of Splunk Cloud Gateway by an admin. See the Install and Administer Splunk Cloud Gateway manual.
- The appropriate user permissions are configured by an admin.
- Register your TV with Splunk Cloud Gateway.
- Have existing dashboards in Splunk Enterprise. For optimal dashboard display, limit dashboard size to a 3x3 grid. You may have to clone a dashboard for it to be compatible with Splunk TV. For more information on creating dashboards, see Create dashboards and panels.
Create a dashboard group
- On the homepage, scroll to the bottom and select Create a group.
- Select the dashboards you want to include in the group.
You can add up to 10 dashboards per group. To deselect a dashboard, select it again. - Select Next.
- Name the dashboard group.
- Select Create Group.
- Select Create. The group displays each dashboard for 10 seconds, and then rotates to the next dashboard in the group. You can adjust the display time in settings. Your groups appear at the top of the homepage.
Edit a dashboard group
