Installation and configuration overview for the Splunk Add-on for EMC VNX

As a best practice, complete the installation and configuration in this order:

  1. Install the VNX CLI tools.
  2. Push the RSA public key to the Control Station.
  3. Install the add-on.
  4. Configure the modular input.
  5. Configure the collection interval.
  6. Test your configuration with a small amount of data and troubleshoot if necessary.
