Troubleshoot add-on issues

To troubleshoot issues with the add-on, use any of the following methods:

View errors on the monitoring dashboard

To view errors on the monitoring dashboard:

1. In the Splunk Enterprise main menu, select Apps, then Splunk Add-on for AppDynamics.
2. In the Splunk Add-on for AppDynamics main menu, select the Monitoring Dashboard tab.
3. Select the Errors tab. This tab displays an error count graph and table of logs.

View logs

To view the logs for the Splunk Add-on for AppDynamics:

1. In the Splunk Enterprise main menu, select Apps, then Splunk Add-on for AppDynamics.
2. In the Splunk Add-on for AppDynamics main menu, select the Search tab.
3. In the search bar, enter index=_internal source=*splunk_ta_appdynamics*.

View error messages

In the Splunk Enterprise main menu, select Messages to view the error messages for Splunk applications.
