Troubleshoot add-on issues

To troubleshoot issues with the add-on, use any of the following methods:

View errors on the monitoring dashboard

To view errors on the monitoring dashboard:

1. In the Splunk Add-on for AppDynamics, select the Monitoring Dashboard tab.
2. Select the Errors tab. This tab displays an error count graph and table of logs.

View logs

To view the logs for the Splunk Add-on for AppDynamics:

1. In the Splunk Add-on for AppDynamics, select the Search tab.
2. In the search bar, enter index=_internal source=*splunk_ta_appdynamics*.

View error messages

On any page of the Splunk Enterprise home page, select Messages in the header to view the error messages for Splunk applications.
