Get data in with a DSP push-based connector
Push-based connectors continuously send data from an external source into a pipeline. The configuration of a connector is called a connection. Connections include the credentials that are required by connectors to connect to their endpoints. You can manage connections in the Global Connections Management page.
To use a push-based connector, do the following steps:
- Create a connection for your connector.
- After you create your connection, you can use it in a connector in your data pipeline.
- (Optional) If you want to send data from these data sources to Splunk Enterprise, see
The Read from Splunk Firehose source function does not ingest data from push-based connectors.
