The Splunk® ITSI Module for Application Performance Monitoring will reach its End of Life on February 26, 2021.

Installation and configuration overview for the ITSI APM Module

Install and configure the ITSI APM module and its dependencies:

  1. Install the supported add-ons that collect APM data for the ITSI APM Module. For each add-on that is relevant for your environment, follow the documentation to install and configure it, then return to this manual to complete the verification and index configuration steps.
  2. Install the ITSI APM Module.
  3. After you have install the module, no manual configuration is required. Entity discovery is automatic, and you can create new services using the KPIs in the module. See Overview of creating services in ITSI in the Service Insights manual.
