Edit a Flow

After you create a Flow, access the Step Manger to remove steps, create new Lanes, and review stats in the Flow Edit page.

Add a custom numeric attribute to a step

You can add a custom numeric value to a Step as an Attribute. For example, suppose you want to track an estimated cost related to a Journey. Follow these steps to add a custom numeric attribute to a step:

  1. Click Edit to access the Step Manager in the Flow editor page.
    • To rename the column Custom Numeric Attribute Value column, click the edit button. Type a name and click the checkmark to save your work.
    • To add a numeric value, type in the Custom Numeric Attribute Value column in the row of the associated Step.
    • To remove a numeric value, click the edit button in the row of the associated Step and remove the numeric value.
  2. To filter by a custom numeric value, select the value or range of values from the Custom Numeric Attribute in the filters panel.

View custom numeric attribute summary statistics

After you enter a value, you can view the summary statistics on your custom Journey numeric values in the metrics tab, or open the Journey details in the list view. Follow these steps to view custom numeric attribute summary statistics:

  1. Click Metrics to open the Metrics tab.
    • Under Numeric Attributes, select the custom numeric attribute you want to add to the metrics page.
  2. Click List to open the List view.
    • Click on a Journey to open the Journey Details view.
    • Toggle on the Custom Numeric Attribute.

Refresh and remove steps using the Step Manager

Follow these steps to show or remove steps in the Flow:

  1. Click Edit to access the Step Manager.
    • To remove an individual step in the Flowchart, toggle Enable to disable the step.
      If you disable a step in the Step Manager, it removes the step from view in the Flowchart. It does not remove all Journeys that contain the step.
    • To show a step in the Flowchart, toggle Enable to enable the step.
    • To remove multiple steps, use the bulk edit menu.
    • To make new steps appear in the table, click Refresh.

Categorize steps to create Lanes

Follow these steps to create lanes and assign steps to each lane:

  1. Click Edit to access the Step Manager.
  2. Click the Edit icon Edit symbol.png under Lane.
  3. Enter a name.
  4. Click the checkmark to save your changes.

Rename steps

Follow these steps to rename a step:

  1. Click Edit to access the Step Manager.
  2. Click the Edit icon Edit symbol.png under Alias.
  3. Enter a name.
  4. Click the checkmark to save your changes.

Customize step colors

Follow these steps to apply a custom color to a step:

  1. Click Edit to access the Step Manager.
  2. Click Color in the step to modify.
  3. Select or enter a color.
