Save and manage Filter Sets

In SBF, you can apply Filters to your Flow to view a subset of Journeys sorted by Attribute, time, Step, or Step sequence. Save your Filter selections as a Filter Set to refer back to the view or create alternative views of your Flow.

Example

For example, suppose you own the shipping and delivery Flow for your organization. Your company guarantees order delivery within three business days. You want to sort your Flow by Journey Duration to compare Journeys with deliveries inside the guaranteed delivery window versus outside the guaranteed delivery window. You create two Filter Sets, one with a Journey Duration of less than or equal to three days, named "Compliant deliveries" and one with a Journey Duration greater than three days named "Noncompliant deliveries". Saving your work as Filter Sets allows you to switch between custom filter selections without reapplying individual filters.

Next, you can create a Notification on your Filter Set that notifies you when Journeys in your Filter Set meet your defined trigger conditions. For example, you can create a Notification on your "Compliant deliveries" that notifies you when less than 90% of the Journeys meet the three business day delivery guarantee. Save a Filter Set

To create your first Filter Set, follow these steps:

  1. From the Filter Sets menu, click Unsaved Filter Set.
  2. Enter a name.
  3. (Optional) Enter a description.
  4. Click Save as Filter Set.
  5. Click Save.

To save changes to an existing Filter Set, follow these steps:

  1. From the Filter Sets menu, click <your filter set name> unsaved.
  2. Click Save.

To save changes to a new Filter Set, follow these steps:

  1. From the Filter Sets menu, click Save As.
  2. Enter a name.
  3. (Optional) Enter a description.
  4. Click Save to save your changes to a new Filter Set .

To create an empty filter set:

  • From the Filter Sets menu, click New.

Manage your Filter Sets

You can rename, add a description, or delete your Filter Sets.

  1. In the Explore page, click the pencil icon on the Filter Set you want to edit.
    • to edit the name or description, implement your edits then click Save.
    • to delete your Filter Set, click Delete.
