Select form inputs from your iPad using TV Companion to display on Splunk TV
You can choose form inputs from your iPad to choose which data to display on your Splunk TV dashboards.
Prerequisites
Complete the following prerequisites:
- Download Splunk TV Companion.
- Download Splunk TV on your Apple TVs, Android TVs, or Fire TVs.
- Log in to the same Splunk platform instance with the same Splunk user credentials as your TV. See Log into a Splunk platform instance in a Connected Experiences app in the Use Splunk Secure Gateway manual.
- Have permission to view dashboards from the Splunk instance your TVs are registered to.
Steps
- In the Splunk TV Companion app, navigate to the TVs page.
- Select the TV that you want to display your form input selection on. The dashboard that the TV is displaying opens on your iPad.
- Make a form input selection. The dashboard updates on the TV you selected.
The TV that you select displays your form input selection. If the TV that you select is a part of a grid arrangement, the dashboard will update across all TVs in the grid.
