Configure router passthrough for Splunk Edge Hub OS

When you configure router passthrough, Splunk Edge Hub OS acts as a router and provides a Wi-Fi access point that other devices can connect to.

This feature requires cellular connectivity. Cellular connectivity is currently an experimental feature. To turn on cellular activity, contact your Splunk Edge Hub partner.

Prerequisites

  1. In the Splunk Edge Hub Advanced Settings page, navigate to the Network configuration tab.
  2. Select Passthrough.
  3. Select Start.
  4. The Splunk Edge Hub OS starts a Wi-Fi access point. The access point SSID is SplunkEdgeHub-<SOME_ID>. The password for the access point is "SplunkEdgeHub".

To stop the access point, select Stop.
