A table, chart, or visualization based on a data model dataset. You create pivots with the Pivot Editor.

After you create a pivot, you can save it as a report or dashboard panel. If a pivot takes a long time to finish when you first open it, you can improve its performance by applying data model acceleration to its data model object.

This term is also a verb that describes the act of using the Pivot Editor to create a pivot.
