A container in a dashboard or form that holds one or more visualizations. You can create and edit panels using the Dashboard Editor.

There are three panel types.

• Inline: Contains one or more inline searches to generate data for visualizations.

• Panel from a report: Based on a search and visualization from a report.

• Prebuilt panel: Panel created in Simple XML code that can be shared and reused between various dashboards.
