panel

noun

A section of a view. Each dashboard is made up of panels that can contain modules such as search boxes, fields, charts, tables, and lists.

Dashboard panels are commonly hooked up to saved searches that run when the dashboard is initially loaded, providing you with up-to-the-moment metrics and analysis. More complex dashboards can contain multiple panels and panels that enable you to select various time ranges or search values. The visual dashboard editor and simple view XML offer panel types, such as charts, tables, lists, HTML, and single value modules.
