table-chart drilldown

noun

A highly configurable feature which lets Splunk users delve deeper into the details presented to them in dashboard tables and charts. It is activated by a mouse click in a table row, table cell, or chart element, which sets off a search that provides more information about those discrete selections. The drilldown search results can be displayed in a variety of manners, including a separate search window or a new dashboard panel that opens up beneath the panel that the user clicked.
