panel type

Dashboards built via the Visual dashboard editor or the simplified view XML are made out of panel types. Panel types determine the kind of visualization displayed in a dashboard. For example, tables and charts are two different panel types. In the Visual dashboard editor there are four available panel types:
- table
- chart
- event list
- single value
In the simplified XML, there are six panel types:

- single value
- event viewer
