per-result alert

noun

A real-time alert that operates within an "all time" time window, and which alerts whenever the base search returns a result. Useful if you need to know the moment a matching result comes in, or if you are designing a frequently-triggered alert for machine consumption (such as a workflow-oriented application)

You can throttle per-result alerts to ensure that they aren't triggered too frequently.

When you create an alert you can designate it as a per-result alert by selecting Trigger in real-time whenever a result matches on the Schedule step of the Create Alert dialog.
