Arista CloudVision for Splunk On-Call πŸ”—

Arista CloudVision is a multi-domain management platform that uses cloud networking principles to deliver a simplified NetOps experience.

Requirements πŸ”—

This integration is compatible with the following versions of Splunk On-Call:

  • Starter

  • Growth

  • Enterprise

Splunk On-Call configuration πŸ”—

  1. From the Splunk On-Call web portal, select Integrations then Prometheus.

  2. Select the Prometheus integration and copy the Service API Endpoint to your clipboard.

CloudVision configuration πŸ”—

  1. In Arista CloudVision, go to Events then Notification Configuration then Platforms.

  2. Scroll to the VictorOps section and paste the Service API Endpoint you previously copied in the VictorOps API Key field. Leave the VictorOps URL field blank.

  3. Next, configure this platform in a receiver by going to Events then Notification Configuration then Receivers.

  4. Select Add Receivers.

  5. Enter the receiver name in the Receiver Name field and select Add Configuration.

  6. Select the VictorOps option in the table, including the routing key you want to notify in Splunk On-Call. For more information on routing keys or instructions on creating a new one, see Create Routing Keys in Splunk On-Call. If required, select the Send alert when events are resolved checkbox.

  7. Next, configure rules to define when the receiver is used. Go to Events then Notification Configuration then Rules and select Add Rules. Enter the appropriate settings and select the VictorOps receiver.
